I'm finally back in my studio after spending the summer playing with my grandchildren and concentrating on being Grandma!
I have reached 2000 subscribers to my YouTube Channel, and a few companies have reached out to me recently about reviewing their products.
I want to stay independant, but I did say yes to the Portable Painter when they offered to send me their new Micro Portable Painter Travel Palette, because I already own their other travel palette the Portable Painter, and love it.
So I made a little review for you here - painting a Bird of Paradise flower - and a quick little study of a pumpkin while using my new little palette for the first time.
Of course, being me I also had to nerd out a bit on my 6 colors that I selected for this particular palette!

What Supplies Do I Bring For Outdoor Watercolor Sketching And Camping Tr...
It's fun to go outdoors to paint sometimes. Here I share a few tips for what to bring for an outdoor adventure - either camping or just a day hike.
If you want to make my little "watercolor sleeve" here are the basic recipe:
Start with about 46 stitches, knit in one piece, using 5 knitting needles (like knitting socks, etc.)
Make it long enough to fold over a little sponge.
